Last stop on the 2018 winter trip. Flew into Dublin and drove to shoot in Cork. Hardest thing about driving in Ireland, definitely not driving on the opposite side of the road, but driving on the opposite side of the car. What a chore.
A quick stop. Since our flight got delayed from Venice, we only had one full day in Munich. Besides shooting Marienplatz from the very top of Saint Peter’s tower, we spent a large part of the day shooting inside an art museum, because for once, we were actually allowed to! I’ve always wanted to shoot people admiring art, leaving everything black and white except for the painting. The gallery was the Neue Pinakothek.
Finally, we are all better, me over my cold and vic who suffered from the stomach flu for 5 days. We’re in Venice for a couple days and trying desperately to match our best selling photo of all time (from the Rialto bridge). First day, we did ok...
Day 2 Tuscany. Such a tough place to shoot with all the clouds, in and out sun, shadows, tough to find view points, trespassing, etc. but, all worth it in the end. Been flying solo for the past 2 days. Vic has been sick, but she’s recovering and should be ready for Venice on the 15th... Vicki Caira-Viteritti
